I got so excited today driving back from Jasper. I noticed hundreds of dogwoods in full bloom along the highway in the Angelina Forest. They are so beautiful. Spring has arrived in the Piney Woods. Dogwood is my most favorite tree and now is the time to enjoy them. I pulled over and snapped this shot with my cell phone.

I wish we had "blooming" flowers! I so miss them...back in California where there are flowers ALL year long! Darn Montana....it snowed today!
