Corned Beef and Cabbage

Ok- have to show you our St. Pat's feast.  Corned beef and Cabbage with potatoes and Irish Soda Bread.  The beef was delicious.  It cooked in a slow cooker all day in a gravy of onions, potatoes, cabbage, cider vinegar, sugar and pepper. Mmmmmm!  The Irish bread was heavy.  If you were a starving Irishman, a piece of that bread would give you comfort.  It's dense wheat bread and fills your tummy.  Do you like our green glasses?  We tried to celebrate our Irish roots today.
