USC destroys Arizona State

USC knocks Arizona State out of the Rose Bowl hunt. USC wins the Thanksgiving Day battle 44-24. USC looked like the USC I know and love. Booty was awesome. Everything was clicking. Arizona State was higher ranked and had the inside track to the Rose Bowl. We have a chance for the Rose Bowl if we beat UCLA next week and Oregon loses one of there last two games. If we win and Oregon wins, they go to the Rose Bowl, but we might get a Fiesta Bowl bid. I really enjoyed watching this game. First game we have played on Turkey Day since 1938. Since Carrol has been our coach we are 23-0 in November. Carrol has never lost a game in November. How unbelievable is that?

We also had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner. Had all the traditionals: turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed taters and gravy, green bean casserole, stuffed celery, olives, pickles, pumpkin pie.... Lacey, Page and I then played a fun game, then it was USC football! Sean called around midnight and kept Page on the phone until 2:30 a.m.

Congratulations, Mike. Hope your Thanksgiving was good. Now keep your fingers crossed for BYU today. The Utes must go down.
