USA is out

USA lost to Ghana 1-2 today and was knocked out of the World Cup. Italy won their game, so if we could have pulled off this game, we would be in the last 16. Wouldn't that have been amazing!!! Oh well.

I walked into one of my doctor's office right before noon and she had the game on in her break room, and I happened to look up at the TV when Ghana made their 2nd goal on a penalty kick right before the half. What a disapointment to see that. The doctor is from Hondurus and is really into soccer. The USA has more work to do to become a World Cup contender, but I think they are on the right track, although 0-2-1 and last in their group really doesn't look like it. Now I say "GO SPAIN"!
